Laggan Dam is located on the River Spean, in the Scottish Highlands. The structure was built as part of the Lochaber Hydroelectric Scheme in 1934. The reservoir has a capacity 1.4 billion cubic feet of water, and it serves the local community and towns as far away as Fort William.
